Alex Dubitsky ([email protected]) has been with the company since its inception in 2010. He is responsible for Awbury’s strategic direction and core relationships and leads the company’s key expansion initiatives. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Goldman Sachs and at Credit Suisse. Prior to that, he practiced law at Hogan Lovells in Washington D.C. Mr. Dubitsky serves on the boards of several financial service companies and investment funds. He is a Co-Chair of the President’s Council on the School of Public Health and of Parents Leadership Council, and a member of the Executive Committee of the Annual Fund of Brown University. Mr. Dubitsky holds an LL.M. from Yale Law School and an MBA from University of Chicago.

Nick Meynell ([email protected]) is the President of Awbury Insurance Ltd and is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of AIL’s operations, supported by Awbury’s key advisors and service providers, including policy issuance, management accounting, governance and regulatory compliance.

Nick was responsible for Awbury’s outward reinsurance program and originating clients for the insurer’s European-related business through 2021 having joined Awbury UK Limited in 2015 from Marsh Ltd, where he focused on structuring and placing Awbury Insurance Ltd’s reinsurance facilities as well as facultative placements.

Nick has more than 25 years of experience working with insurers and banks. Prior to his service at Marsh Ltd, he was an Executive Director at Goldman Sachs International where he was responsible for hedging all longevity risk emanating from their buy in/buy out pension business. From 2007 – 2010, Nick, working through his own US based company, focused on structuring insurance and reinsurance protection for the life and longevity businesses at Goldman Sachs, Credit Suisse and J P Morgan. Prior to that, Nick worked for Willis in the US and UK structuring and placing Political Risk and Credit insurance protection for major US and European banks.

Nick is a qualified Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Andrew Kaplan ([email protected]) is Awbury’s Chief Risk Officer, overseeing all of the firm’s underwriting functions and risk decisions.

Mr. Kaplan has been actively managing risk and building financial services businesses since 1990. His experience in trading and risk management extends across both credit (structured and illiquid) and insurance products. From 2007 to 2010, Mr. Kaplan was a Managing Director at JPMorgan. During his tenure at the firm, he was responsible for the successful development and implementation of risk management and operational systems, which were held to the standards and satisfaction of both the Federal Reserve Bank of NY and the FSA. Among other things, Mr. Kaplan served on the board of a leading industry trade association. Prior to joining JPMorgan, Andrew co-founded the longevity trading business at Credit Suisse. Previous experience includes 10 years of trading and managing illiquid fixed income derivatives risk within the emerging markets units of Credit Suisse and JPMorgan.

Mr. Kaplan received his MBA in finance from Fairleigh Dickenson University and his B.S. in engineering from Cornell University.

Koby Feingold ([email protected]) is the General Counsel of Awbury, as well as its Managing Director, Products. As General Counsel, he is responsible for the firm’s legal, compliance and regulatory functions. As Managing Director, Products, he is responsible for partnering with the firm’s clients to develop attractive product offerings. Koby serves on the Underwriting and Binding Committee of Awbury Insurance Ltd., and chairs its Claims Committee as well as its Compliance Committee.

Mr. Feingold joined Awbury in 2012 from Dewey & LeBoeuf, where he focused on corporate transactions and regulatory matters involving insurance companies. Koby has significant experience in the areas of product development, mergers and acquisitions, reinsurance transactions, complex restructurings and structured finance transactions.

Mr. Feingold received his J.D. from the University of Virginia.

David Ensor ([email protected]) provides analytics, insight, and guidance for new and existing risks.

David served as President & Active Underwriter of Awbury Insurance Ltd. and was responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of AIL’s operations including chairing the Underwriting and Binding Committee from inception through 2021. Prior to joining Awbury, David held the position of global Chief Credit Officer for Chartis (AIG). In that role, he was responsible for the control, approval and management of all credit risk assumed by any Chartis business units in over 130 countries, including captives, political risk, reinsurance, surety and trade credit. David was also the global “Risk Expert” for credit risk within the firm’s Enterprise Risk Management Group and managed a portfolio of credit risk exposures totaling c.$200BN. Before assuming his role at Chartis in 2009, David was responsible for all credit risk taken by AIG in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and a member of its 10 person global sovereign-rating committee.

David read Law at St. John’s College, Cambridge, and has a MA from the University of Cambridge. He is also an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, London, and has over 35 years of broad international experience in the financial services industry.

Joseph Curran ([email protected]) is Awbury’s Chief Operating Officer.

Joseph Curran has over 20 years of experience in technology and finance, and serves as Awbury’s Chief Operating Officer. Joe’s prior experience includes serving as the Chief Operating Officer or Chief Technology Officer for numerous firms within the alternative investment space, including Sivik Global Healthcare, Traxis Partners and Wexford Capital.

Joe has led major business integration and transformation projects and has first-hand experience providing solutions to the operational and technological challenges faced by financial organizations. He has expertise in risk management, budgeting, cost controls, business continuity, security and financial modeling.

Joe has a B.S. in Mathematics from New York University, a B.S. in Engineering from The Cooper Union and a M.S. in Engineering from Binghamton University.

John Mawe ([email protected]) is responsible for transaction structuring, execution and new product development.

John has over 25 years of financial markets experience, primarily focused on structured finance. Prior to joining Awbury, John was a Managing Director at Lehman Brothers in charge of origination, structuring, and distribution of structured debt obligations. His past roles have included similar positions with Prudential Securities and Citicorp Mortgage Securities. Mr. Mawe began his career as a licensed CPA with Coopers & Lybrand, auditing broker dealers and mortgage companies, and was a founding member of the firm’s securitization practice.

Mr. Mawe is a CFA charter holder and member of the New York Society of Security Analysts. He received a J.D. from Fordham University School of Law and earned a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Matias Einaudi ([email protected]) is responsible for origination, client engagement and structuring in the Americas.

Matias has 25 years’ experience in credit businesses across emerging and developed markets. Prior to joining Awbury, Matias was Head of Structuring & Marketing for the Asset Resolution Unit at Credit Suisse, responsible for the execution of a wide range of transactions across diverse legacy portfolios including Macro, Credit, Emerging Markets, Commodities and Equities. Matias also led the unit’s CRT/SRT program that delivered material de-risking and capital relief to the bank. Past roles also included serving as portfolio manager for the legacy longevity and emerging markets books.

Mr. Einaudi earned a B.S. in Industrial Engineering at Instituto Tecnologico in Argentina.

Jeff Huffman ([email protected]) is a member of Awbury’s transaction structuring, execution and new product development team, based in Greenwich, CT.

Jeff was previously at Goldman Sachs where he was a Managing Director and responsible for Credit Structuring across Goldman’s credit trading businesses. Earlier he headed Goldman’s Correlation and Credit structuring group where he originated, structured, priced and marketed single tranche and full capital structure CDO transactions for global insurance, re-insurance, pension and hedge fund investors. Prior to this Jeff held a variety of senior positions in the credit and derivative businesses at both Goldman and JP Morgan in London and New York with a focus on derivatives along with structured and securitized credit offerings and new product development. Mr. Huffman also worked with Nephila Advisors focusing on climate and renewable energy opportunities.

Mr. Huffman graduated magna cum laude from the College of William and Mary with a BBA in accounting and economics.

Emil Petrov ([email protected]) is the Managing Director of Awbury UK Limited responsible for origination, structuring, and client engagement for European-related business in Awbury’s London office.

Emil joined Awbury from Nomura where, as Head of Capital Solutions EMEA, he was responsible for the origination, structuring and execution of non-dilutive capital transactions such as bank Additional Tier 1 and Tier 2 as well as loss-absorbing MREL/TLAC-compliant debt, strategic liability management and FIG rating advisory. Prior to that, Emil was part of Lehman Brothers’ capital solutions team which introduced the tax-deductible Tier 1 product in Europe. Emil started his banking career as a risk management analyst and junior trader at the interest rates derivatives desk of ING Bank in Amsterdam.

Emil holds an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, a BA (Hons.) from the European Business School, Regent’s University London and a Corporate Finance Qualification from The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.

Vivek Chandiramani ([email protected]) is Managing Director of Awbury’s Asia Pacific business based in Singapore. He is responsible for origination, structuring, and client engagement in Asia.

Prior to joining Awbury, Vivek spent 28 years at J.P. Morgan where he earlier focused on structuring, risk analysis, and relationship management; developing bespoke solutions for clients across Debt Capital Markets and Leveraged & Acquisition Finance. Vivek then transitioned into leadership roles as CRO for ASEAN; APAC Head of the Commercial Bank and COO for North Asia. He also served on the board of J.P.Morgan’s Asia Pacific Executive Management Committee and has intimate knowledge of the Asia Pacific region.

While currently living in Singapore, Vivek was born and raised in Hong Kong. He holds a B.Sc. degree in Computer Information Systems, with a minor in Marketing. More recently, Vivek completed certifications in Digital Transformation with Imperial College Business School (UK), as well as Blockchain & Digital Assets with the Digital Asset Council for Financial Professionals (USA).

Chien Chien Wong ([email protected]) is a senior executive in financial services with deep experience across IB, WM and AM. She spent 31 years at Credit Suisse, between 1992 – June 2023, and held key management positions with regional and product focused responsibilities. Her most recent position was CEO for Singapore at Credit Suisse. Prior to this appointment, she was the COO for APAC as well as various product and functional businesses globally.

Chien Chien drove the transformation of APAC business between 2016 – 2021 into a profitable and fully integrated IB and WM franchise, culminating in delivering a record regional Pre-Tax Income of CHF 1 billion in 2021. This was achieved through the private banking expansion, an integrated client coverage model, a technology strategy centered around Asia wealth growth, disciplined resource allocation with a robust corporate governance and risk management framework. She also led a number of onshore growth initiatives and completed the establishment of a number of bank branches, broker dealers and an insurance company across APAC, Latin Americas and Bermuda.

A native Singaporean, Chien Chien has lived and worked in NY, HK, Tokyo, Taipei and Singapore. She received her Accountancy degree with honors from the National University of Singapore, and is a fellow member of the Certified Public Accountants in Singapore and Australia.

Nick Frankland ([email protected]) has been the Chairman of Strategy and Technology Group at Aon since 2022. He is a founding partner in the formation of Aon’s new consulting business, the Strategy and Technology Group, delivering strategic, actuarial and software advice and solutions to the insurance industry. As chairman, he led the acquisition of the Tyche technology platforms.

Prior to that, he was the UK CEO for Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions where he was responsible for the Global Re Specialty, Capital Advisory, Business Intelligence, Bermuda and UK & Ireland businesses. Additionally, he was a member of the Global Reinsurance Executive Committee, Chairman of Aon UK Reinsurance, a member of the Aon UK Ltd Board (the regulated entity for all Aon UK businesses), and a member of the Aon Group Global Operating Committee.

Before joining Aon, Frankland was CEO of Guy Carpenter’s EMEA business. He joined the Marsh McLennan-owned reinsurance intermediary in 2004, after running the London Market P&C division of RK Carvill, where he had been a director for ten years.

B. Schuyler Edwards ([email protected]) has been with the company since its inception in 2010. Schuyler spent five years with Credit Suisse in its Longevity Markets Group, focusing on asset origination and portfolio management. Schuyler was responsible for pricing, execution and maintenance of a $10 billion portfolio of complex insurance assets. He also played a key role in establishing best in class control processes for origination, servicing and claims management for the group.

Prior to his front office experience, Mr. Edwards was a member of Credit Suisse’s Legal and Compliance Department supporting fixed income businesses. Schuyler has extensive international experience having spent two years in Chennai, India managing a 150 person outsourced servicing team and 1.5 years in Beijing, China as part of the legal team at Beijing Sanyou Intellectual Property Agency Ltd.

Mr. Edwards attended Michigan State University.

Sokha Au-Ferris ([email protected]) is responsible for Awbury’s accounting, controls, and treasury functions, including financial and regulatory reporting, compliance, forecasting and planning, and premium and expense management.

Prior to joining Awbury, Mrs. Au-Ferris was a VP, FP&A with Torus Insurance, where she developed the financial and business planning activities for the group’s US operations, and managed special projects including the SOX and ERM implementation for Torus Americas segment. Sokha has previously worked for Endurance Reinsurance, where she managed the annual SOX attestation, and focused on development of process improvements and best practices, as well as risk management. Before focusing on (re)insurance, Mrs. Au-Ferris started her finance career at Deloitte LLP in the United Kingdom. Sokha is a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW, a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a member of ISACA and the AFP.

Mrs. Au-Ferris graduated cum laude with distinction with a B.A. in psychology from Yale University.
